19th Polonia World Golf Championships Polonia Open

Date: 27th February – 2nd March 2019

Place: The Fountains Country Club & Indian Spring Country Club

This will be the 19th year of our popular tournament as a Polonia World Championship. As golf become again an Olympic sport our tournament will be run fourth time under the full patronage of Polish Olympic Committee.

Our tournament right from the beginning starts from really high level. Clubs like Polo Golf & Country Club, The Breakers East & West, The Tesoro Club & PGA Village made big difference developing and maintaining Polonia Open by Zywiec on this level. Than again very successful years 2011 – 2015 tournaments at The Fountains Country Club, 2016 at Heron Bay where the Honda Classic use to play, 2017 at Jacaranda G.C.and 2018 back to Palm Beach area to well known private club The Fountains & Courtyard Marriott in Boynton Beach just 15 minutes apart. But that’s not it. This year We’ll play at the REFACED – New Fountains CC and also his new brother privet club INDIAN SPRING CC just 5 minute away.

Friendly, looks seemingly easy but courses in both clubs are very, challenging. Fountains West Course was for long time host of Pre-Qualifier for the Honda Classic. Indian Spring – West Course really great as We have tough choice which one to choose for the final round this year. As every year in the past, next tournament will be a Special. We already have confirmation from very prominent celebrities to show up at Polonia Open by Zywiec. We also expect to host the event with many known people from the world of polish and Polonia sports, cultural life, politics, business, movies and entertainment.

The Tournament will be played on two Fountains Country Club Championship courses (South & West) and West Course at Indian Spring CC.

Players will be competing in both Open Gross and Net as well as Mid Amator (35+) and Senior(50+) . Thanks to this system all players from all over the world will be able to compete as equals. Eligibility and Format). Start as a “shotgun” for first 2 rounds and the final round “tee times”according to the scores after 2 rounds . As it was in 2014, we WILL NOT IMPLEMENT THE “CUT” for the final round. All players will be playing on Saturday. The winners in all categories, Gross, Net, Mid Amatour and Senior aside from the winning prizes will also receive the prestigious PKOL Crystal Medals & Championship Jackets as Polonia’s World Champions.
