2026 Polonia Open Golf Championship
About Polonia Open
The original tournament was organized by a group of Polish-American sports fans associated with the Riverdale Tennis of New York and the Polish American Golf Association (PAGA). Initially, it was primarily a tennis event, bringing together famous players. The accompanying golf games played an increasingly important role to gain equal status after two years. In 2004, the golf tournament – organized by the current PAGA president Paweł Gąsior, gathered 120 players, optimal for organizational reasons.

I have been associated with the Polonia Open tournament almost from the beginning. I was always impressed with his momentum. I once talked to one of the managers of the field where the tournament was taking place. He was amazed. Something like that has never been with them – more than 150 golfers in shirts of equal national colors shocked him and other club members.

An amateur athlete, golfer, and tennis player, as well as the founder and president of the Polish American Golf Association, for whom golf defines a true “Way to Live.” Despite a demanding schedule, he devotes his scarce free time to all things sports, with a particular focus in recent years on golf and tennis.
